Teine: E to’afa tagata i lenei aiga. Lua mātua ma tamaiti e to’alua.
Tama: Ioe, ma e foliga mai e fia’a’ai.
Teine: Foliga manaia mai ā latou mea’ai. O ā ā latou mea lae ‘ai?
Tama: Lae e ‘ai ā latou falaoa pa’agugu ma le mea lanu pa’epa’e i luga.
Teine: Ma ou te va’ai atu o lo’o i ai avoka. E fia ā latou avoka lae e i ai?
Tama: E tolu avoka ma le ipu fuala’au’aina lanu meamata, pei o lau kapisi.

Teine: What a good looking family. I see a mother, a father a son and a daughter.
Tama: So, how many people are in this family?
Teine: There are four people in this family. Two parents and two children.
Tama: Yes, and they look hungry.
Teine: Their food looks delicious. What are they eating?
Tama: They are eating toast with something white on it.
Teine: And I see they have avacados. How many avocados do they have?
Tama: They have 3 avocados and a bowl of green vegetables, like spinach.
Teine: They are also eating cereal and the father has a bottle of milk
Tama: It looks like they will have a hot drink with their breakfast. How many cups do they have?
Teine: They have four cups
Tama: Mmm… they are making me hungry.
Teine: You are always hungry.
